The craftsmen were open to show me their art. Wayang kulit has always a strong spiritual dimension, rooted in Hindu religion, each decoration, pattern color of the puppets have a specific meaning. The story shown in the performances are mainly Ramayana and other major Hindu epics. The puppets are made out of cow skin, angles of the puppets are made out of their bones.
