Every year, Rajastani living far out in the desert, flock to holy city Pushkar, joining camel fair and taking a bath in the holy lake. Pushkar Fair starts in Nawami (ninth Moon) and ends in Purnima (Full Moon) in the month of Kartika, October or November depending on Moon calendar. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India, according to legend especially blessed by Brahma, creator of the universe.
